Krispy Kreme is one of the most popular donut chains in the United States. They are known for their delicious, melt-in-your-mouth donuts. But are Krispy Kreme donuts vegan?
The answer is no. Krispy Kreme uses milk, butter, and eggs in their donuts.
There’s been a lot of talk lately about whether or not Krispy Kreme donuts are vegan. The answer is: it depends on the donut. Some of our classic flavors, like Original Glazed and Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, do not contain animal-derived ingredients and are therefore suitable for vegans.
However, other flavors like Cinnamon Swirl and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles contain dairy, so they are not vegan.

Ingredients: -1 cup all-purpose flour -1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt -3/4 cup sugar -1/4 cup vegetable oil
-2 tablespoons non dairy milk (I used almond) -1 teaspoon vanilla extract For the coating: -1/4 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon (or just use powdered sugar)Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and set aside.
In another bowl mix together sugar, oil, non dairy milk and vanilla until smooth. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until everything is well combined. Lightly grease a doughnut pan with oil (I used coconut) and spoon batter into each cavity, filling only about halfway full.
Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before removing from pan. While donuts are cooling, prepare the coating by mixing together cinnamon and sugar or just place powdered sugar in a shallow dish.
